Welcome Home!

One definition of home is “the social unit formed by a family living together,” or another is “a congenial environment.” Our goal in forming this organization is to provide a home for those horses or large animals, that for one reason or another, find themselves without a home and try to change that. 

We are fortunate enough to have a large facility which enables us to be able to “step up” if a situation arises and an animal is in need of a home immediately. They will not only find a structure here but a place that provides them with all the feed they require for proper nutrition, on a daily, routine basis. We will be their guardian. We will seek, inquire and provide for all their needs on a medical and a maintenance front. Lastly, because we are a home, we will provide a friendly and welcoming environment.

But that is not the end of our purpose, it is only the beginning.  The main goal is to find options, opportunities and direction for these animals.  It is imperative, once the above objectives have been met, to provide these animals with families. The only chance for success in uniting these horses with families is to make sure they have all the “tools” to become a member. This means that we have to take untrained animals and provide them training, or take animals with physical and behavioral problems and “fix” them if there is any way humanly possible. It means we research, campaign, invest time, and challenge ourselves to prevail.
